The Midwest Blue Oval Club will be hosting a car show and arts and crafts show on September 9th at the Dent County Courthouse square. Like previous shows, there will be a lot of activities going on during the and after the show and for the adults and kids.
Proceeds from this event will go to Salem High School Band Parents, Love Pack Back Pack, and the Shepards Nook Food Pantry
8:00 am: Arts, craft, food vendors set up. Vendor space still available for $25. If you are a school or student group…there is no charge.
8:00 am: Registration for cars, trucks, tractors, Open to anything you feel like showing off. Not just a Ford show! Open to anything (free event t-shirts to the first 25 entrants)
10:00 am: National Anthem performance by the Salem High School Marching Band, starting show ceremony and special announcements, followed by more music.
11:00 am: Music by Highway 32 Bluegrass by Randy Hubbs and the gang.
11:45 am: Special performance by Linda Maledy and her dancing students from her academy.
12:15 pm: Enjoy the sounds of Second Time Around Band.
2:30 pm: Awards presentation

Saturday evening: Open cruise base from Scoops parking lot with a DJ playing the oldies but goodies. Other activities to be announced.
Sunday Afternoon: 12:30 pm meet at the Courthouse square to begin a cruise to the new Echo Bluff State Park for a picnic style lunch. This is free to the car show participants! All you have to do is sign up Saturday during the event so we know how many burgers and dogs to have ready. The picnic is courtesy of Jamie Schwartz, Schwarts Salvage and TAC (The Auto Connection).
