We had a great turnout for the Max Ford Harrisville MO show and the weather was great. A total of about 140 cars showed up. The show was supposed to start at 9 AM but we had several cars show up at 8 AM. There were quite a few vendors on hand at the show. R&A Motorsports had a beautiful Mustang in the showroom. There were tons of raffle items and give ways for everyone in attendance.

The Good Sam Club band did an outstanding job with the music they selected for the show and we have to give them a big thank you for allowing us to interrupt the music to make announcements and to allow us to use the PA system during the awards. If you ever need a great band for your event, give these guys a call.

Our guest of honor, John Clor, was there selling and signing his latest book “Ford Mustang 2015: The New Generation”. This is a great book on how the new S550 Mustang went through all its phases from research to development to assembly. Like always, John is a great guy to be around with all his stories from years back until today.

The NASCAR Wood Brothers number 21 Ford Fusion was on display and this was an attraction for everyone to see. Every once in a while, they would fire up the car to let warm up before they gave it a few hard hits on the throttle. The people would come and swarm around the car just to hear it and the kids loved it.

We have to thank several of our other sponsors who came to the show with their displays. Hagerty Insurance, Ford Accessories for their loaded F-150, AMSOIL for all their oil products, Renewal by Anderson promoting their newest windows for your home and R Jay’s Speed Shop. Please visit these sponsors and thank them for their support of the show.

There were so many great cars at the show this year, the participants were having a hard time picking out their favorite cars for several different categories. To kick off the awards, John Clor had a very special announcement to make. He announced that “The Midwest Blue Oval Club is now listed as one of Ford’s most exclusive clubs.” There are only 35 clubs listed on the Ford Performance Enthusiast website and the Midwest Blue Oval Club is on that list. Thank you very much John Clor for helping us make this club such a success. You can visit the Ford Performance Enthusiast site by clicking here.

As you know by now, this club is all about charities. We donate the profits from each show to various charities in the communities that our shows appear. This year, we donated to the following organizations:

$1600 went to Military Order of the Purple Heart

$500 went toTeam 327

$500 wen to Heroes Among Us

$500 went to Camp Valor

This is a total of $3100 donated from this show. This would not have been made possible if it wasn’t for the caring people who attend out shows. Thank you to everyone who attended and our sponsors for their support.

Here are pictures of the vehicles that showed up. We didn’t get everyone’s cars in there but it is most of them.

Here are the pictures from the awards presentation. Congratulations to all the winners. The choices were not easy to make.
